How will I be able to find the right colours in the shops?
The simplest way to find the correct colours is to use your Personal Swatch Wallet (received free as part of your Colour Analysis). As you become more familiar with your colours you will gradually find that you have developed a better eye for colour selection and no longer need to refer to the wallet. If your are ever in doubt about an item, you can always email us a photo and we can advise further!

I want to dye my hair. Will that effect the colours that suit me?
The short answer is that, yes it could. The colours that are recommended for you are chosen to complement your natural colouring. If you are an Autumn or Spring season then that would mean that your skin tone and overall look is warm, whereas Winter or Summer seasons are cool based.
Consequently, putting too much warmth into your hair colour might mean that some of the Winter or Summer colours are less effective. The key is to decide before your analysis whether you are happy to work with your natural colouring.

Does colour analysis mean that I will no longer be able to wear my favourite colours?
Having your colours done is by no means intended to spoil your fun! The chances are that what have been your favourite colours prior to analysis, are actually in your palette (which is why you've instinctively enjoyed wearing them). And if this is not the case, then you certainly don't need to feel you can't wear them again. By accessorising with scarves in your colours, make-up and/or jewellry - it is perfectly possible to continue wearing those favourite items. Of course, when we feel good in a particular item of clothing, it is not just the colour that plays a part in this but the style too. If you feel confident then the style must be working for you so enjoy it!

Will I always remain the same season?
For the majority of clients the answer is yes. If you have your colours analysised when you are 18 years old, your season could well remain the same when you are 81 years old. You will may find that your preferred colours from your seasonal palette evolve over time (and in response to fashions) but the characteristics of the colours you wear (e.g. cool, light, muted for Summer), will remain the same.
However, as there are only four seasons in colour analysis and we all have unique colouring, some clients may find themselves on the cusp of two seasons. If this is case, it is very possible that your season may change as time progresses. As we age, our skintone and hair colour will naturally lighten and this can be enough to tip the balance.
In essence, there are some people who sit very definitely within a season and others slightly less so... think of it as a spectrum.
